Considering all the work I have made over years, monoprint making is a thing I have learned so much from. Over time I have developed my own idiosyncratic ways of working. I enjoy the chance opportunity to make interesting conversations with marks. I can spend hours drawing and not be happy with anything exactly, then suddenly something emerges, the marks add up to a 'little gem' and it's all been worth the scratching and re-trying. I like the riskiness of drawing 'blind' and finding little smudges that lend a sense of light and dark. Some of my monoprints make use of simple line portraying abstracted worlds, others have a more detailed representative feel.

Here are some recent examples.
