spring into summer dolls

This is a new collection of eight dolls inspired by the season - greens and gentle natural tones. I have been working on these small persons for several weeks as we move from spring toward summer. Making use of my own natural dyed fabrics, combining with pretty quilting cottons, Liberty print, vintage buttons, hand spun yarn and cross stitch aprons, I have spent many hours making each doll.

Of course you may know I have been making dolls for many years now - and whilst their gentle characters have evolved over time, they remain very much handmade, one of a kind and rather special to me.

These will be added to my shop Wednesday 2nd June at 8pm UK time. I also have a selection of new gouache artworks on paper - (you can see previews on Instagram) and these will be included in this update.

I have been thinking about starting a newsletter to in some ways keep in touch. Not strictly a mailing list but something more, a letter to you to keep you connected, an old-fashioned way of keeping in touch. I'll say more about this next week. Until then.....

Thanks always
