monoprint drawings - oil on paper

monoprint drawings - oil on paper

Hello, it's a sunny and mild start to this last week of March - and yes spring is here.... I sat in my little garden to eat lunch today, ignored the power drill/sawing going on in the neighbourhood and tuned into the birdsong.... I've been busy drawing and working on new ideas this afternoon.

Over the next few weeks I plan to continue on with exploring still life forms, line, colour and more.... I am particularly interested in monoprint making at the moment but also more experimental drawing and at the same time exploring colour in drawing - so that's plenty to be getting on with for a while.

There's no shop update this week - and I'm taking a break from updating for a few weeks after this. My next update will be after Easter, in mid-April. I made a choice to take a break so that I may focus on new work at a steady pace and at the same time support my son who is revising for exams. As you may know I have a teenage soon who has autism - and revision is tough for any young person. Thanks always for your support.

I hope to share with you a post of sketchbook pages later in the week.

Have a good week and more soon....
